BMAF Internationalisation SIG Workshop

The Internationalisation SIG is continuing its activities into the 2009/2010 academic year and is now planning a series of events with the theme:
'The International Agenda: Where Next?'

The first workshop will be a one day event taking place at Newcastle Business School on Friday 27 November and the focus for this session will be 'Challenges for Teaching and Learning'.  Topics to be covered will include:

  • 'The Challenges of Internationalisation' with guest speaker Ian Shell from Newcastle Business School
  • Case Study: International Student Mentoring' led by Paul Coldwell from Regent's College
  • Designing Post Grad Programmes for Internationally Mobile Students' by Yvonne Moogan from Liverpool Business School
  • Critical Success Factors in Assessment and Feedback' a full afternoon session with guest speaker Berry O'Donovan, Deputy Director ASKe Centre

The workshop is free to attend but you do need to book your place in advance.  If you would like to book a place please contact Karen Pettit on bmaf@brookes.ac.uk
