COURSE INFORMATION

 

The Diploma in Management Development (DMD) is designed for practising or aspiring supervisors and junior managers. The DMD is a practical and work-based programme aimed at developing the individual's knowledge, skills, competence and confidence in their organisational role.

 

The programme relates to the national Leadership and Management Standards with modules covering achieving results and facilitating change, working with others, managing information and finance, and managing and developing self.

 

Through specially-designed learning materials and work-based assignments, learners develop their knowledge and understanding of management, which in turn helps them develop their personal and managerial effectiveness.

 

The programme can be studied on either a part-time basis with workshop support, or on a distance-learning basis through a fully-supported virtual learning environment.
