Bob, joins NBS from Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University where he successfully launched a Centre for Management Development.

Having spent more than 20 years working as the interface between university business schools and the corporate world, Bob brings with him a wealth of expertise in the development of management and executive level staff.

In his role as Associate Dean, Bob will be responsible for building on the successes of NBS, strengthening its links with regional businesses and establishing new connections with national and international organisations.

Commenting on his appointment Bob said:

"NBS has an outstanding reputation and it's a very exciting time for me to come on board. The CMDC has a number of significant links with public and private sector companies and already has a very strong base which I am eager to build upon, especially with major corporations in both the UK and internationally."

NBS offers a multitude of training and development options ranging from one day courses to full three year programmes, all of which can be customised to suit the specific needs of individuals and businesses. Learning takes place not just in classroom based workshops but also through work-based sessions, individual coaching and e-learning.

Bob continued: "Management and executive development is a key strategic issue for many organisations and is increasingly being recognised as a core area for investment. We work closely with all our corporate clients to agree a joint approach on what will work best for them."

Dean of NBS Paul Croney said:

"Bob has an outstanding reputation in the business school arena and we are very pleased to have him on board. He will play an instrumental role in growing the CMDC, not only in terms of generating commercial business but also in developing our product and service offering."
