John Hartwright, Head of Admissions for Newcastle Business School (NBS) visited Sri Lanka this week as part of his South Asian tour and handed over official offer letters for students eager to commence their studies in the UK.
The biggest group of Sri Lankan students yet to come to the business school will commence business degree programmes at NBS and will be joining us in our brand new home, City Campus East.
John Hartwright commented:
"NBS continues to offer opportunities to International students and is constantly strengthening its global reach. We very much look forward to welcoming the students to NBS as they join us at a very exciting time in our development at City Campus East".
Business Management School (BMS) is the prinicipal representative in Sri Lanka and helps NBS as part of Northumbria University to recruit international students. The Sri Lanka Sunday Times described Northumbria as:
'a preferred destination for Sri Lankan students'
John added:
"Nizam Razzaq
- Northumbria's Principal Representative working for BMS in Sri Lanka
is invaluable in helping us to achieve our international recruitment targets. We are very much looking forward to working closely together over the coming years."
BMS was awarded Northumbria representative prize for good practice at the International representative conference in New Delhi in 2006.
